Estrella Kids

Our ministry to your children starts and ends with you, mom and dad.

No matter how creatively we proclaim God's Word to children at church, they are more likely to believe their experience of the faith at home.  That's because incarnation trumps proclamation.   - Kurt D Bruner, Stephen Stroope

Our heart is to nuture and shape children into the men and women God created them to be.  But we cannot tackle this task alone as the church, nor do you have to struggle to do so on your own.  Rather, in partnership together, our kids can hear the truth of the gospel proclaimed and see the life-transforming work of God lived out at home.

Here are some of the ways we proclaim and live the gospel with kids at EMC:

Forge: church for kids, and parents are welcome! Worship, Bible teaching from Genesis to Revelation, games and more! Tuesdays during the school year.

Vacation Bible School: A week of great fun, games, activities, and biblical learning! For preschoolers through 5th grade.

Sundays @ 9am – Kids Church

All our kids, from the toddlers up through 5th grade will meet in the courtyard for check-in and then head to their classrooms from there.

Toddlers and Preschool will meet in room 214 and Kindergarten through 5th grade will meet in the Student Center.  Each group will have a blast as they dive into scripture, sing worship songs and hear Bible stories about Gideon, Samson and Elijah, just to name a few!

Ignite Next Gen

We are doing something unique with our 4th and 5th grade students, something that is geared just for them!  Ignite Next Gen is where the our ‘Tweens’ will get a Bible message and time of worship geared for them, as well as some hang out time.  They will also be challenged and given opportunity to serve the younger students in the Children’s Ministry by doing puppets, helping with games and other leadership opportunities.

From birth through graduation, we are here to help bring about transformation, not just in the hearts and lives of your children, but in your family.  So every step of the way, we would invite you to participate, partner and lead with us.

Satan does not fear a religion that merely stencils words on a stone wall, or even preaches them in a sermon.  What he dreads is when the Word becomes flesh and blood in the tangible context of a God-honoring marriage and family.
